Family Engagement Workshops
YCSC offers parent workshops for schools to support families in bringing mindfulness and yoga into the home. These workshops are designed to complement the programs and work that schools are already doing to support the social emotional development of students, and bridge the gap between school and home.
The Basics of Yoga & Mindfulness for Parents

Best Practices for Cultivating A Culture of Mindfulness At Home
In this workshop, parents will gain valuable insights and practical tips for integrating mindfulness beyond just physical practice into their home life. Learn how to implement mindful listening in your interactions with your children and discover effective ways to use mindfulness and yoga to support their self-regulation. Equip yourself with strategies to foster a more mindful and balanced family dynamic.
Regulation and Co-Regulation Strategies for Parents
Participants will explore yoga, breathwork, and mindfulness techniques designed to help both themselves and their children manage and co-regulate emotions effectively. Through reflection and discussion, they will identify the most impactful strategies and understand the critical role of emotional regulation. The workshop will emphasize using these tools as supportive practices to enhance family well-being and connection.
Session Costs:
Single, 60-minute sessions (include handouts) = $500 for up to 30 participants
3-Pack of Sessions= $1350 for 3, 60-minute sessions for up to 30 participants
All sessions are offered in-person or virtually via Zoom.
Please note that in-person sessions that require travel more than 20-minutes outside of Baltimore City may incur additional fees.
